Why they're called emoticons - I'm not
really sure, its a name that Microsoft used within MSN Messenger it
launched MSN Messenger with smiley graphics to send to friends on
MSN Messenger. Emoticons are also referred to as
smileys, smiles and
smiley icons. You can call our emoticons whatever you like - but I'm
sure that you'll call our emoticons damn cool.
